It was my sister's birthday yesterday. We organised a party for her. Mum prepared a birthday cake for her. I invited some of her friends. I went shopping and bought some cookies and beverages. She was very surprised and happy.

My friend, Sue gave a fancy dress party in her house yesterday. There were twenty guests there. Everybody wore a different costume but I was funnier than the others. They laughed at my big nose and orange hair a lot. We had great time. We ate a lot of delicious food and danced all night.

It was my grandparents' wedding anniversary yesterday so my parents organised a surprise party for them. The party was in our garden. We decorated the place with lots of balloons. Mum ordered a big cake and dad bought a great present for them. I helped mum cooking the dinner. Everything was great. My grandparents really enjoyed the party.

First, decide where to throw your party. At home or outside? Second, make a guest list and prepare invitation cards. Third, send invitation cards to your friends, neighbours etc. Go shopping and buy some beverages. Prepare the food after you buy the beverages. Then decorate the place where you want to throw your party. Finally dress up, meet your friends and enjoy your party.

Sarah : Hi, it's Sarah. What are you doing?
Juliet : Hi, Sarah. I'm having dinner. What about you?
Sarah : My parents aren't at home today. I am sleepover party with my friends tonight. We have got a lot of food and beverages. Wod you like to attend the party?
Juliet : I'd like to but I can't come. I have an exam tomorrow and I'm studying for it tonight. Well, Saturday is Linda's birthday. Let's organise a surprise party.
Sarah : That's a good idea. I can prepare the guest list and the invitation cards.
Juliet : Ok. I think Dora can bring some music CDs. She has a lot of great CDs. Where should we have party?
Sarah : Why don't we have it in our garden ? We can decorate the place after school and mum can make a birthday cake. She is very good at it.
Juliet : Ok. I can buy the beverages and other food. What about presents. What should we buy for her?
Sarah : I know what she wants. Let's meet and go shopping together tomorrow.
Juliet : Great. See you tomorrow.
